it's a beautiful world despite the mess that comes with it

as monday unraveled,
it just set in place the message that i heard in church the prior day.
it all started when
I hesitated going to the mall that night by myself,
why? because their are crazy people out there..
i went anyways..
you just can't control the crazies
you have to live your life

the main message was simple yet elaborate.
i was grateful to have heard it,
i'm sure everyone who attended an LDS church last Sunday
heard the same message just from the mouth of a different voice
interpreted in their own way, applied to their own circumstances,
and geared it into the direction they saw fit.

it is so easy to find
all of those question marks,
trials, and set backs in life
and become discouraged.

"It may seem that the world is in commotion; and it is! It may seem that there are wars and rumors of wars; and there are! It may seem that the future will hold trials and difficulties for you; and it will! However, fear is the opposite of faith. Do not be afraid! I do not fear."
-President Boyd K. Packer

fear can become one of Satans biggest traps.
"fear is the opposite of faith"
it can bring you down and inhale the life right out of you.

it can set you back from living life,
from enjoying the beauty around you.

i came across this message, the entire thing was amazing..
but i will grab the parts that remind me to live in this beautiful life,
as I was intended, to stop worrying about the fear of "what if"
"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul.
No matter our talents, education, backgrounds, or abilities,
we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before.

Creation brings deep satisfaction and fulfillment.
We develop ourselves and others when we take unorganized matter
into our hands and mold it into something of beauty..
The bounds of creativity extend far beyond the limits of a canvas
or a sheet of paper and do not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano.
Creation means bringing into existence something that did not exist before—
colorful gardens, harmonious homes, family memories, flowing laughter."
-Dieter F. Uchtdorf
creating, is my outlet
it takes away those question marks
the worries of the world
and refocuses my mind on goals.
goals to better myself and
goals to leave this world a little better than i found it.

  2. Thank you for your beautiful post! It's all about faith and pressing on. There is so much beauty in the way we come together as a people during these difficult times. And, yes, creating fills me with so much joy! If I am not creating, I'm not being true to me. I think it is that way for most people. We all need to be creating, in our own way and in our own sphere. Thanks for your inspiring message.
