take me out to the ball game

que: the iphone pics..
First off,
Tyson is a Red Sox fan so he was super excited about extending our vacation from the cruise to head to the Red Sox spring training, and I was just as excited because I love a good baseball game & there were more beach days invloved! There were many times during the last 3 days of our trip where we both seriously contemplated moving our airplane tickets back another week! We are at a point right now where we have no serious commitments and are able to be flexible with our time!
Feels so nice for now!

We headed to Fort Myers on Wednesday,
headed to the outlets and then had dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings.

we woke up and headed to the Red Sox field around 10..
game wasn't until 1:30 and they had a double header that day.
and they don't let you in until 2 hours prior.
my husband is a bit intense and wanted to make sure we soaked everything possible in.
It was a fun, hot day!
Lex, as you can probably start to tell.. became obsessed with her sunglasses. It was always bright and I loved that she frequently requested them! She ended up falling asleep towards the end of the second game. After the game we headed back to our hotel and showered and got ready for dinner where we met his high school friend Clayton and his wife for dinner. Clayton currently is playing for the Red Sox so it's worked out nicely to see him pitch!

Red Sox just had practice that day.. but Tyson made sure we went that morning. I loved watching lex play in the dirt and run on the grass, make me miss summer so badly!! I'm jealous of all of you who live in warm weather year round!! Not that I would take the humidity ever again! I forgot how much me & my hair HATE the humidity.. I don't think I had a solid good hair day! After the practice we headed to Lovers Key State Park Beach, I'll post about that later!

This was our last Red Sox game but we headed their 2 hours early.. and hung out and enjoyed the ball park! Lexi & Ty caught one of the photographers eyes, so he asked permission to use some of his images, they showed up on their website so that is one of the lovely candid shots of all three of us. Not a clue what I was looking at :) Lex again fell asleep towards the end of the game! So nice she doesn't fight sleep out in public anymore!!

Lex was such a trooper and enjoyed every bit of our vacation.
Every bit of the ball park, the hot dogs, the peanuts, the foam finger, the cotton candy, and the frozen lemonade! I think she only had 3 melt downs the entire two weeks and they were all right before nap time and were manageable!

wouldn't mind if this became one of our family traditions!
