5 Tips for feeling your best in the New Year

  1. Have easy/healthy go-to quick meals like Progresso™ Light that you can take advantage of on busy or lazy days! I have a bad habit of snacking on Oreos or other not-so-good for you snacks when I don't have a lot of time to cook or just simply no energy in making me a real meal! Canned Soups don't take long at all and it will give you a good source of fulfillment! Have a Calender/Organizer/Planner -- what ever you want to use.
  2. Have a little structure in your life by writing things down. Goals, Appointments, etc.. By having a written down list of things you want to accomplish, you are more likely to accomplish them! It's easier to check off something on paper and feel accomplished than if you were to do it mentally in your head!  It's always rewarding to actually see something on paper of all that you managed to do!

  3. Kick soda and drink more water! Try your best to eliminate your intake of sodas! If you are used to drinking a couple a day.. try switching to only having one every other day! Make it a realistic goal or otherwise you are more than likely going to slip up more times than you wish!
  4. Get a Pedometer! I never have been much for working out.. and to try and commit myself to some outrageous goal of starting now, might be a little unrealistic! A pedometer is a good way to track how much you walk each day. Not to mention walking is free and you can do it anywhere!! Set a goal to walk 10,000 steps a day and you can even make a competition out of it with another friend or family member by sending  a little nightly message to boast about how many steps you had that day!
  5. Get new Make up! Go into Ulta or Walgreens, wherever you shop for make up and splurge on some new makeup! I swear it always feels refreshing to get new make up! Eye shadows, lip stick, lip gloss, blush, primer, etc.. I promise wearing good makeup helps you feel your best! 2 of my favorite items to get you started: Benefit Mascara, Loreal True Match LUMI foundation (I love that kind just as much as my more expensive version -Urban Decay Naked foundation)
